Great fun for parents and children January 1, 2009 Chad J. Webb Got this for my 4 year old sister as a christmas gift. Sound odd? Girls aren't into all that girly stuff til they near their teenage years. In the years leading up to that time...they enjoy getting dirty and playing just like the boys. Despite the 24 years difference between my sister and myself, I had a blast playing with this toy. Needless to say, my sister did as well as she threw a sizeable temper tantrum after we had to put it up for the evening. Durable? Yes, she smacked the heck out of it several times and it still stands tall and operates wonderfully. (She has to work on the coordination a bit ;) In closing, lots of fun for 'kids' of all ages.
*****AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! December 22, 2008 MARY AUNT OWENS ***I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT, FOR MY GREAT NEPHEW, FOR XMAS!!! IT'S AWESOME!!! WHAT FUN!!! TY, AMAZON! HO, HO. HO!
So easy an 18 month old can use it! December 2, 2008 Tom R. (Manasquan, NJ USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this for his 4th birthday and loves it. But to my surprise my 18 month old began using it almost as well as his brother! It's simple to load, press the plate and the ball rises and attaches to the velcro tether. He does it all by himself! I'm beginning to think some of the negative reviews are due to poor quality control and shipping defective product. The ball loads quickly, every time. The balls stick well even after it has been used outside a few times (yes we use it inside often.) Only Con - it should come with more balls. I recommend it BUT if it doesn't work perfectly as some people have seen, exchange it for a new one!
fun but a little frustrating October 24, 2008 jessy jo 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My child has lots of fun with this toy but the black arm flips off when he hits it about every five times. We ended up duct taping the arm to the base and that helps out alot. Seems like they need to fix that problem. But he loves playing with it.
