Buy the extra darts for a longer battle. The kids love it, older one included. It can get crazy as these darts fly fast and furious around the room. Girls and boys are equally as wild with the darts.

I have two boys; 8 & 10. We play with these things all the time!!! We have a great time with this toy. Can't give it much of an educational rating, unless of course you live in a tactical environment...we do! LOL! If you have boys, this will get their wiggles out...don't forget the eye protection. I just wish this company had the dart tag set I purchased to use these darts with. Their prices are fantastic, my toy came from Target and was way overpriced.

I picked up one of these dart packs to serve as extra ammo for my Nerf MagStrike, and they're pretty solid. They're durable as long as you're not trying to hurt them, and the velcro sticks pretty well to anything fuzzy. Don't use them in the Maverick; the larger heads on the tagger darts have a tendency to get jammed in the cylinder.

I have had several moded and home made dart guns and perfer these to the stephans i make. they are durable, inexpensive, and fun. as an added bounus a majority of them even whistel while there flying through the air at high speeds.
