Trike for Tot January 6, 2009 Grandma This is a neat first trike for a girl. She liked the storage space in the rear and the adjustable seat and foldable option are helpful. Nevertheless, I was very disappointed in the "tires" which were described as rubber in the blurb.Beware! They are hard plastic! False advertising, if you ask me.
Poor Design December 20, 2008 Thomas Duran (Tulare, CA) This trike is designed for children not old enough to ride on it. Initially, I thought this looked like a quality toy, but upon further examination, it became obvious that the pedals are set too close together. There is not enough leverage for my 4-year old girl to turn them over. My 2-year old loves to get on it and can scoot himself by pushing on the floor. Most of the time the older pusher the younger and then the pedals become a hazard. This toy is cute, but it shouldn't be considered as an entry level tricycle.
Better than the regular red/white radio flyer trike... December 3, 2008 Ana Glacken (Heidelberg, Germany) My daughter loves this trike. We originally bought the red/white RF trike because it looked very durable (metal) but the darn thing squeaks and is very clunky and heavy, not only that but my daughter never learned to pedal until we got her this trike. The pedals are very easy and she figured it out in minutes.. where as with the other trike she had she would sit on it and try and try and try and never got it. Plus, this one has a little compartment in the back that she loves putting her little dollies in there, I even found a half eaten PB&J sandwich once.. lol Anyway, i'm rambling. If you get this trike you won't be dissappointed and neither will your little girl.
Her First Tricycle January 16, 2008 Lindsey (Mississippi, USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this tricycle! My 19 month old is a little too short to reach the pedals (she is average height for her age) but she can push herself with her feet. She has so much fun putting toys and things in the little basket on the back. She looks adorable scooting about on her little tricycle! I love it! She loves it!
Solid Trike - Narrow Wheelbase December 11, 2007 Abraham Cohen (NJ, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The bike is extremely durable and well built. I think the narrow wheelbase causes the trike to be a bit tipsy for beginners which can be dangerous outdoors and around furniture.
