Three brightly colored flowers made from textured fleece, twill and sateen provide tactile stimulation for babys curious fingers. Shake the flowers to hear a soft chime sound. Two wooden leaves slide back and forth, creating a pleasant click-and-clack sound that stimulates babys sense of hearing. Hold the rattle in front of baby and encourage her to reach for it. The ring-shaped rattle is easy for baby to grasp in either hand. Baby has an inborn ability to grasp objects, which will further develop during her first year of life. Shake the rattle to one side of babys head to inspire babys sense of hearing. She will hear the click-and-clack sound of the leaves and the soft chiming flower and will turn her head towards the sounds.

This is an excellent all natural toy option. It is very nicely made and I love the fact it is all non-toxic paints. It will be great for our little one as we are trying to "go green."

I think that this is a wonderful toy for babies since it is made from wood rather than plastic, which too often contains BPA (estrogen). I would like to know what the dyes are made from? This is a gift for a new grandbaby and I hope she likes it!
