Product Description Lil' Snoopy makes the ideal first puppy for little ones. Pull him along to watch fun actions - he turns his head, wiggles his ears, wags his tail and barks. This playful pup helps little ones develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as encourages imaginative play. They can learn to take care of Lil' Snoopy, preparing them for the day they ask for a real dog!

Good Leash, Bad Balance March 21, 2008 A Happy Mommy (Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA) My daughter got this toy for Christmas when she was 18 months. I liked that the leash is actually long enough for a toddler to stand upright and pull, unlike on a lot of so-called pull toys. (It's not extremely long, though, so I don't worry about it as a choking hazard. It's just right.) However, the dog frequently tips over when it's being pulled around, which is quite frustrating to her when she's trying to "walking doggie." I think that's a real flaw. The barking, as someone else mentioned, is mechanical, not batteries -- another plus -- and it's not loud and annoying.
No good April 2, 2007 Lucy (Illinois) The product is not good. My son never wants to play with it. From the moment the dog is shipped to our house, the total play time my son has with it is less than 1 minute.
Wrong voice box? February 17, 2007 Samuel Chell (Kenosha,, WI United States) I have to wonder if Fisher-Price inadvertently switched the voice boxes for their choo-choo train and this little puppy. Instead of producing an "arf-arf," the best it can do is a "putt-putt." If you pull it in reverse--about as challenging for a tot as teaching a dog to walk backwards--the sound is altered in favor of a somewhat more "arfish" quality. The ears and tail move because they're loosely attached, not because of gears or mechanical coordination. Anyway, my grand-daughter enjoyed pulling it (on its side) for a least a good five minutes, so it probably passes the most important reviewer's test.
Old Fashioned Fun February 15, 2007 Easy Reader (Hudson Valley, New York) I love this toy BECAUSE its mechanical, not electronic. I hate all the lound battery powered "Learning" toys. This toy will not contribute to the pollution from millions of toys with multiple batteries required, PLUS our 12 month old daughter loves it and has been able to identify dogs and what the doggy says since opening it on Christmas day. We Love it!
Just Basic Lil Dog November 3, 2006 Richard A. Singer Jr. (Grand Cayman, British West Indies) This dog is just a simple toy but my twin boys do enjoy it. I had to buy this one because i couldnt find the Chicco family of barking dogs. Still looking for a more sophisticated barking dog that lights up. Recommended but there are better puul dogs out there.
