Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Now you can soothe baby with classical music, sweet lullabies, or soft nature sounds while offering a scenic light show that's just right for different ages. Mom can choose from Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Beautiful Dreamer lullabies to help baby drift to dreamland, classical selections from Bach and Beethoven, or nature sounds like a babbling brook or tweeting birdies.

Moms can also change what's projected to match baby's stage of development, sliding a new card in as visual skills improve. For newborns (birth-3M), projections are simple, high-contrast images designed to help teach focus. Infants (3-6M), get complex shapes and colors, designed to intrigue as visual skills improve. When baby is old enough, the moon and stars project soothing colors on wall or ceiling with its rotating base. The soft light also serves as a great nightlight.

Choose a music length between 5, 10, or 15 minutes. And take the show on the road, for calm, comfort, and compact portability wherever you go. Includes a convenient handle for portability, three image slides that are easy to insert and store conveniently in the base and power/volume control. Requires 4 "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries (not included). Measures 11" x 3.375" x 11".

1 out of 5 stars Great idea that falls short!   December 28, 2008

So excited about this. Received it as a gift and as I opened it, right off the bat I was dismayed that there is no plug in option! Then I actually tried it and unless you can hang it from your ceiling the images are too fuzzy and dim for me to see let alone my baby! Great idea...needs lots of work before it is actually a good product. Mine is going back!

5 out of 5 stars This is a great toy.   December 16, 2008

My daughter got this for her first Christmas when she was four months old. At that age she already liked to look at the pictures projected on the ceiling and it plays two soothing tunes (with volume levels that are adjustable which is nice) and has one nature sounds option. Now she is over 2 and still likes to "listen to her music" or "listen to the crickets" at both naptime and bedtime. If we don't turn it on, she will climb out of bed to turn it on and get back in bed.
We are going to get another one for her eight month old brother who likes watching the images on the ceiling as well. He also loves to just crawl over to it and press the buttons and check out the lights and listen to the music. Unfortunately for him, his sister is not ready to give this toy up, so he needs his own for his room. I also like that the music plays for up to fifteen minutes. My daughter has always taken her sweet time to fall asleep and many toys only play music for ten minutes or less. It has also not eaten batteries alive like some do. We also like that it is not a toy that just attaches to the crib because this makes it easier for the young child that has graduated to a bed to use. Also easier to take to Grandma's house so there is more of that at-home comfort at bedtime. Even in the long car trip to Grandma's house, you can have this along and turn it on to get into nap mode, which my daughter needs since unlike most kids she does not instantly fall asleep once she gets in the car.

4 out of 5 stars Our daughter loves it   September 6, 2008
Eye doc mom (Riverside, Ca)
We have had this since she was 1 month old. She is coming up on her second birthday and we still use it every day. She turns it on in the middle of the night by herself. She is a great sleeper and this helps her go right back to sleep if she wakes in the night without us going in. We take it everywhere when we go on trips to help her sleep in strange hotel rooms. A definite must.

5 out of 5 stars Great for us!   September 2, 2008

After switching from crib to big girl bed, my daughter stopped going to sleep on her own. But after getting this, we put it on as part of our nighttime routine and tell her that when the music and lights shut off- mommy leaves and she goes to sleep. She totally went for it! First we started at 15 minutes on the timer, now I'm out of there in 5. I love the different timer options and I think that the light show is quite adequate for us.

5 out of 5 stars Baby Loves It!   July 31, 2008

I purchase this for my daughter before she was even born. I love it and she loves it even more. She is 10 months old now and she listens to the music all the time and she loves to play with it. She falls asleep for her naps and the night listening to the music and watching the light show. Very simple pictures and the room has to be dark to see anything.
