This is neat! January 1, 2009 Jerry Nettrour (San Antonio, TX) We bought this for our 1 yr old and also for the 6 month old I babysit for. They love the music it plays and the lights on it. Of course they don't know to move the bars to get different play modes yet. It is also small enough to travel with.
Kids Love It!! December 19, 2008 So Cal Dad (Los Angeles, CA USA) My daughter LOVES this little piano! You can switch from just playing notes (piano, flute, and xylophone), parts of songs, or whole songs. Of course she loves to chew on the switches. And it's sturdy too, because she grabs that thing and flips it around on the ground all the time. Friends of ours also have it for their boy and he loves it too.
Entertainment for a six month old December 15, 2008 Christina Marie Martin (Gastonia, NC) My son greatly enjoys this piano and he gets to hear classical music!! Later on he can use it to count, it is worth the money.
Not a real way to learn songs... November 23, 2008 Micha Proietto 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Okay so this plays five notes right... But which ones? We have no idea because nothing says what notes correspond to the keys. Not only that but it doesn't come with anything that says how to play any songs like some do. For example, the Puppy Tunes shows which colors to press in order to play a few bars of a few songs. Nothing like that with this. The other thing I don't like is that there are colorful lights that flash when songs are played or keys are pressed. For each note played, a light will light up. That in itself doesn't bother me but the color of the lights doesn't correspond to the color of the keys... How does that make any sense? Also, it doesn't exactly "count" anything - It will just say the number of the key you pressed and play a piece of a song. I will say though that I do like all the positive things that the other reviewers have mentioned. This does entertain my 8 month old daughter for about five to ten minutes at a time (sometimes a little longer) before she moves on to something else and it's not annoying to listen to at all. It actually sounds quite nice. Overall it's good if don't care about your kids really learning how to play the piano and you just want something that you can hear over and over without going nuts.
My 7 month old son loves this piano!! October 31, 2008 S.R.S (New York, NY USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great interactive toy for babies who love music.....Especially when they are learning to sit up on their own and good for tummy time too. It lights up and has 3 different play modes, sounds, and languages. It's not too loud, holds thier attention span, teaches them to push the buttons to get it to play, and is small so it can go to Grandma's for a weekend. My son loves the little spinner with the beads too. One thing you should know is, if your child is strong or plays rough and is active as mine,(he is only 7 months old and a big boy!) the piano is hard plastic with some weight to it and well, you get the idea!
