We purchased this TV for Christmas 2007 for our son's room...it has had poor reception from the moment we plugged it in... (yes, we have cable...) the TV plays with constant static...we tried purchasing new cables, no better... we moved the TV into another room - slightly better, but everytime we put a different tv in it's place, no problems...THIS tv does not play well... Plus, the remote is odd in that it's a child's TV, yet it does not accept two digit channels without pressing a special key first. Weird. Also, the DVD drawer sticks and only plays certain DVDs..Save your money and purchase a regular TV / DVD for your kids...it's cute, but definitely not well made and not worth the money.
