4 out of 5 stars Not obnoxious, baby LOVES this phone   October 28, 2007

We got this phone for our baby to give her in place of our phone. We were afraid she would figure out how to call China.

She likes the lights and sounds and plays with it all of the time. Sounds are soft, don't drive me and Dad crazy. HOORAY!

Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Fun toy for new baby   July 15, 2007

My son loves to press the different of this phone since it comes with music. It is with a perfect weight. I wish I could gave it N/A for education value since I was not expecting that from the phone so I enede up to give it just 1 star. I do not believe he learns anything from it yet being a companion. He had been playing this since he was 5 months old. Now he is 9+monhts is still loving it. Good investment for me as a parent.

4 out of 5 stars Lovely toy phone   June 29, 2007

We love the design and bright colors of the toy. We think the sound volume is very low, but there's no means to increase the volume. I suppose the volume is appropriate for infants.

1 out of 5 stars Unsanitary   May 31, 2007

Glad I only paid $6 for this. More than that and I would have paid the shipping to return it. It's supposed to be for 3m+. The box says it's "infant-sized" but it's about the same size as a 1980s cell phone. The real problem though is that it's partly covered in cloth which can only be surface-cleaned. My 6-month-old drools all over everything then puts it in his mouth and chews on it. Since you can't exactly run this thing through the wash the fabric would be covered in disgusting unwashable slime in a matter of days with no way to sanitize it. No way I want him chewing on that after a few days. I guess I can keep it out of his reach and play a song for him, but there's no way I'm going to let him play with it. Maybe it would be great without the cloth.
