Excellent for the child Star Wars and Transformer Lover! August 5, 2008 J. R. Carlisle (United States) I bought this for my 6 year old son, for his 6th birthday. It is a VERY well made toy!! Not like the Transformers - not at all. It's very sturdy and strong. He broke, by accident, several of his Transformer toys (Bumble Bee just being one http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Movie-Deluxe-Bumblebee-Camaro/dp/B000M69M7E/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1217903247&sr=1-4 ) - they are just put together very shoddily - not this one though! He wasn't able to transform it over night, but then again, he couldn't do the Transformer ones either. Once he got the transformation of this Starfighter, he's been unstoppable and happy! Plus he loves Star Wars, so it was the perfect gift for a kid who wanted a Transformer, AND loves Star Wars. :) We're happy with it and will buy another for sure!
Good for young Star Wars fans November 30, 2006 ChrissieBerg (Dracut, MA United States) My 4-year old loves his new transformer. He sat on the floor for over two hours and just changed it back and forth into it's different transformations. It was wonderful to watch him enjoy this toy while he improved his hand-eye coordination. He has now had it for a week, played with it every day and has had no trouble with it breaking. The only negative factor is the tiny little character that sits inside the cockpit. It's too small to leave around with our younger child so that stays in the box.
My Nephew Loved Them! November 25, 2006 R. Torres (San Francisco, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased the Bobafet, Anakin, Chewabacca/Han Solo, and Darth Vader Transformers figures for him. He loves them. He wants even more of them and didn't have the problem of them falling to pieces. These toys rate high on fun factor. Great for Star Wars, Transformer, and even Bionicles fans.
Another piece of junk from Hasbro October 7, 2006 mad mama 25 out of 30 found this review helpful
If I could I would give this product zero stars. Every cent we spent on this product was a waste. My son just received 5 different Star Wars Transformers for his birthday (Darth Vader, Darth Maul, Obi Wan, Jango Fett, and the Han Solo/Chewbacca sets). I am so tired of Hasbro selling cheap pieces of junk that do NOT hold together for 5 minutes. My son is beyond frustrated and I am tired of continually trying to put the things back together. We had this same problem last Christmas with Hasbro Star Wars figures. My child is not hard on his toys, but within 24 hours a couple of figures had already lost arms! The thing that drives me nuts is that we still have the Kenner figures that belonged to my husband in the 70's and early 80's and they are still in perfect shape. Why can't Hasbro figure out how to copy those designs and create a quality product?!? The bottom line is that they won't as long as consumers continue to buy this junk and not complain. I have contacted Hasbro customer service and I continually get the run-around. They simply seem to not care about the quality of these products.
